Madhya Pradesh government has now extended the due date of short-term crop loans distributed by primary agricultural credit cooperative societies for Kharif season 2023 to 30 April 2024. Earlier, the due date of short-term crop loans distributed by the state government in Kharif 2023 season was fixed as March 28.
Madhya Pradesh government has given great relief to the farmers by extending the due date of short-term crop loans. This will give farmers more time to harvest crops and make loan repayment easier.
Under the Short Term Crop Loan Scheme, crop loans are provided to farmers at zero percent interest. This loan is given for Kharif and Rabi seasons and is helpful in agricultural activities.
