Cultivating warm-season mung beans after wheat harvest and before paddy sowing can increase farmers' income while also improving soil health. Sowing moong in the fields with Happy Seeder helps in improving the water absorption capacity of the soil, soil organic matter, and the number of microorganisms. Pressing the green stalk of hot season mung beans after plucking them one or two days before transplanting the paddy increases the yield of paddy and the paddy crop requires one-third less nitrogen. Sowing of warm season moong helps in reducing the loss of soil organic carbon due to high temperatures in May-June.
