Waterlogging due to heavy rains: Waterlogging in the fields is increasing due to rains in the first week of September, which may damage the paddy crop. Fungal outbreak:Due to high moisture, there is a risk of fungal spread in the form of 'blast disease' on the paddy crop, which can cause black spots on the crop stems, leaves, and grains. Neem extract:Neem leaf extract is a natural antifungal. Its spraying helps to prevent fungus on paddy crop and it is a safe and free remedy. Use of buttermilk: Spraying buttermilk on the crop controls the fungus. Mix 2 liters of buttermilk in 10 liters of water and spray. Baking soda remedy:Mix one teaspoon of baking soda in 1 liter of water and spray it on the crop. It helps to eliminate black spots and control fungus. Removal of affected plants: To prevent the spread of fungus, remove the affected plants and leaves immediately and keep them away from the crop. Proper management of moisture in the field is necessary.
