Moong procurement date extended: Earlier the last date was 31st July, but now procurement will be done till 5th August. Slot booking: On the instructions of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, the Agriculture Department has extended the procurement period. Farmer booking: Farmers can now book their slots for summer moong sale till 5th August. Statement of Agriculture Minister:Farmer Welfare and Agriculture Development Minister Aidal Singh Kanshana said that slots for booking will be opened on 1st August. Procurement status: This season, 5,12,247 tonnes of moong has been procured from 1,87,194 farmers, whose minimum support price is Rs 4217.48 crore. Procurement target: The Central Government had given the target of procuring 3.30 lakh tonnes of moong, which has been proposed to be increased by the M.P State Government and it has got in-principle approval. Farmers' interest: Farmers' interest is paramount for the state government, so the date has been revised. The slot booking time for farmers has been given from 1st to 5th August.
