Brand New Holland has launched the 'Saksham' project, which focuses on training and empowering underprivileged youth in rural areas. The project aims to train more than 400 youth to meet the need for sales personnel in the automotive and ag industry. In collaboration with the Social Empowerment and Economic Development Society (SEEDS), the project aims to create a pool of skilled and certified sales professionals for the Ag and automotive industry. Individuals with minimum 12th class education, aged 18 years and above can apply for the program in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana and Maharashtra regions. The training covers various aspects of Automotive Sales Assistant roles and includes practical training with the dealership for 3 months. About the project Mr. Sandeep Gupta, Sales Director, Agriculture Division, CNH India inaugurated the project and described it as aimed at enabling rural youth to access potential placement opportunities.
