Appreciating the farmers who have adopted mechanized paddy threshing, shared their views on the benefits of mechanized paddy threshing. In the meantime, he said that the area under mechanized paddy cultivation in Sangrur district is continuously increasing, because with mechanized cultivation, the dependence on labor is reduced and the yield is also more than normal cultivation. He also shared his ideas regarding paddy tillage and direct sowing and encouraged to plant the field after the first 15 days of continuous water in the paddy. Information shared with the farmers about the method of preparing mat type nursery for mechanized paddy cultivation. He also shared information about tractor driven nursery seeder for mat type nursery planting. Apart from this, he also shared ideas regarding mechanical transplanter machines and their beneficial use for mechanized paddy cultivation.
