The 16th installment will be paid today under the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. In the five years of the scheme, 11.8 crore farmers have got a benefit of Rs 2.81 lakh crore. Today about 9 crore farmers will benefit, in whose accounts Rs 2,000 each will be transferred. Farmers who have not yet done Ekyc or have made a mistake in the application may be deprived of the benefits of the scheme. Farmers can check the status of their payment through PM Kisan Portal or mobile app. The status can be checked by visiting PM Kisan Portal and entering the registration number or Aadhaar number. The status can also be checked by downloading PM Kisan Mobile App and entering the registration number or Aadhaar number.
