In Uttar Pradesh, the purchase of coarse grains for the year 2024-25 will start from October 1, which will run till December 31. Registration and renewal of farmers has started for the purchase of millet, sorghum and maize included in coarse grains at the minimum support price (MSP). Farmers can contact toll free number 18001800150 for any problem. Help can also be taken from District Food Marketing Officer, Regional Marketing Officer, and Marketing Inspector. It is mandatory to link the bank account with Aadhaar for payment. For registration, the departmental website http://fcs.up.gov.in or 'UP Kisan Mitra' app has to be used. Purchase will be made only from registered farmers.
