The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert from June 14 to June 18. According to the IMD, the temperature may increase further in the coming days. Climate change is causing an increase in temperature, which will have the greatest impact on agriculture. Emissions of gases like carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide and ozone are increasing the atmospheric temperature. Farming is being damaged, causing early maturity in crops and affecting production. Incidence of pests and diseases is also increasing due to rising temperatures. Environmental change has disturbed the natural balance, which is affecting agriculture and public life. To reduce environmental change, reduce greenhouse gas emissions and adopt water conservation measures. Adopt organic farming and drought resistant varieties.
