The Meteorological Department has issued a heavy rain alert in Goa, Madhya Maharashtra and Gujarat till July 27, 2024. A yellow alert has been issued regarding rain in various districts of Bihar. It has been raining in Delhi, Haryana and other states for the last two days, which has brought relief from the heat. According to the IMD, monsoon conditions are likely to remain normal during the next 4-5 days. Heavy rain is likely in Central India during the next 5 days. Rain alert has also been issued in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan. Heavy rain is expected in Marathwada, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Konkan and Maharashtra on July 25. Heavy rain warning has been issued for West Bengal, Jharkhand, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim till July 28.
