Insect attacks in tomato crop damage the crop, so their identification and prevention is important.

• It damages the leaves and fruits by eating them, due to which the fruits are not fit for market and consumption.
• For prevention, bury the damaged fruits in the ground.
• Spray 3 times at an interval of every 2 weeks from the time of flowering:
• 60 ml Corazon 18.5 SC (Chlorantraniliprole) or
• 30 ml Fame 480 SL (Flubendiamide) or
• 200 ml Indoxacarb 14.5 SC per acre, mix it in 100 liters of water and spray.
• Pick the ripe fruits before spraying.
• Pick the fruits after waiting for 1 day after Corazon and 3 days after Fame.

Aphids:

• They suck the juice of the leaves and make the plants weak and wither.
For prevention, destroy the weeds growing on empty land, roadside and field boundaries.
Do not apply nitrogen fertilizer more than required, because it increases the infestation of aphids.



White fly:

• It weakens the plants by sucking the juice of the leaves and spreads leaf curl virus.
• For prevention, before fruit setting, spray 400 ml of Malathion 50 EC per acre by mixing it in 100 liters of water.
