Leading fertilizer company IFFCO has developed Nano NPK nutrient and has sought government approval to bring it to the market. ► IFFCO will produce Nano NPK at its Kandla unit. ► Nano NPK will be available at Rs 950 for a 5 kg bag. ► The use of Nano NPK is expected to reduce the consumption of urea and di-ammonium phosphate (DAP). ► IFFCO has invested Rs 2,000 crore on Nano Liquid Urea and Nano Liquid DAP since 2017. Earlier Nano products: ► Nano Liquid Urea: Launched in June 2021, 500 ml bottle priced at Rs 240. ► Nano Liquid DAP: Launched in April 2023, 500 ml bottle priced at Rs 600. ► In the next 2-3 years, farmers will benefit from these nano products on a large scale.
