Wilt disease:This is a dangerous disease for gram crop, which spreads through Fusarium oxysporum fungus and is produced through soil and seeds. It damages the roots of the crop, causing the plants to wilt. Prevention: Treat the seeds to prevent wilt disease. Use carbendazim, carboxin, thiram, and Trichoderma viridi. When symptoms of the disease appear, spray carbendazim 50 WP solution on the roots. Do not cultivate pigeon pea in the fields affected by wilt disease for a few years. Select improved varieties like Pusa-372, JG 11, JG 12 to prevent wilt disease.
