Soybean procurement in Vidisha district will be done at 50 centers from October 25 to December 31. The support price has been fixed at Rs 4298 per quintal, in which Rs 4892 has been fixed for high quality crop. Collector Shri Roshan Kumar Singh has issued orders ensuring compliance with the guidelines. Procurement will be done from Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 8 pm; weighing slips will be issued by 6 pm. Produce weighing will be done 5 days a week; weighing of the remaining farmers will be done on Saturday. Facilities of internet, computer, printer, dongle, battery, toilet, electricity etc. have been ensured at the procurement centers. Tarpaulin, fire extinguisher, sand bucket will also be arranged at the centers in view of security.
