Food Minister Govind Singh Rajput has given instructions to take strict action on the reduction in the quality of moong. State level teams will be formed to check the quality of storage of moong and urad. The quality and quantity of moong-urad will be checked in the warehouses. Complaints of storage have been received in some districts even before procurement. Availability of food grains will be ensured to all eligible beneficiaries from fair price shops. In the absence of biometric, food grains will be available through OTP. Ration will also be given to the person nominated by the elderly consumer. One-Nation-One Ration Card Scheme will be implemented better. Action will be taken on pending payments of warehouses and private warehouses of PDS.
